Spring is the perfect time to get off the couch, step away from the screens, and incorporate physical activity into your daily routine. But determining what kind of physical exercise is right for you is essential. It could mean going for a walk or romping around with your children at a nearby park. The most important thing is that you allocate time to exercise.
Having an accountability partner is a great way to stay motivated. This could be someone you look forward to exercising with. Joining a gym or getting involved with a sport are all excellent ways to hold yourself accountable, just like we did. This was DeeDee’s first CrossFit experience … nothing like starting during the world Open CrossFit Games! For Dr. Paul, it was getting back into it after a 2-year hiatus caused by COVID shutdowns and mask mandates.
Starting an exercise program slowly and easing into it is critical, ensuring that you modify each workout to your capabilities to avoid injuries. Slow and steady progress is ideal, especially for beginners.
At KidsFirst4Ever, we emphasize paying close attention to four critical areas that parents must prioritize in their children's development, which apply to every individual: Physical, Mental, Emotional, and Spiritual Health.

As we welcome the spring season, let us take a moment to prioritize our health and well-being. Let's make a commitment to incorporate physical activity into our daily routine and encourage our children to do the same. Remember, exercise doesn't have to be a chore but rather an opportunity to have fun and spend time with family and friends. At KidsFirst4Ever, we believe in the importance of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. We invite you to join us on this journey by taking advantage of our resources, subscribing to our newsletter, and booking an appointment with our coaching experts. Let's make this spring a time of renewal and growth, both personally and as a community.
Sincerely,
Dr. Paul & DeeDee Hoover.
